The largest gathering occurred on July 5, 1976, when a record-breaking crowd of over 250,000 fans overwhelmed New York City's Central Park for a free holiday concert. On June 20, 1976, the band drew 55,000 screaming fans to Anaheim Stadium for Brian Wilson's historic 34th birthday concert. On July 2, 1976, they packed 50,000 people into the Oakland Coliseum for Bill Graham's iconic "Day on the Green" festival.
