Gregg Allman graced the cover of Rolling Stone Magazine on January 16th, 1975. Trivia from a Gregg Allman Facebook page: "The photo was taken at Carnegie Hall in NYC by renowned photographer Pete Turner. You can't see him, but Gregg's best friend Chank Middleton is right there standing behind him holding Gregg up as he leaned on the mylar backdrop creating texture to capture reflections of the lights."
